Jaqueline a tenu pendant des années un salon de thé avec son inséparable amie Marie-Louise. Le jour où celle-ci meurt brusquement, Jacqueline se réjouit de rencontrer enfin Jean, le neveu dont elle lui avait tant parlé. Mais, à la gare, c'est une magnifique jeune femme qu'elle voit arriver...
Le film, quoique beau, tombe malheureusement dans certains clichés.
